President of the Republic of Azerbaijan signed decree on accelerating the establishment of the Alat Free Economic Zone.

Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "on the Alat Free Economic Zone" was adopted.

Mr. Valeh Alasgarov was appointed as a Chairman of the temporary management structure of the Alat Free Economic Zone.

Completion of master plan for 850 hectares area., which includes FEZ 1 (206 hectares), FEZ 2 (433 hectares), FEZ 3 (211 hectares).

By the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Alat Free Economic Zone and Alat Free Economic Zone Authority were established, and Mr. Valeh Alasgarov was appointed as a Chairman of the Alat Free Economic Zone Authority.

Completion of detailed design for Phase 1A (60 hectares).
