The Alat Free Economic Zone (AFEZ) Authority participated in Manufacturing
World Tokyo 2025, one of Asia’s leading industrial trade shows, held at
Makuhari Messe, Japan.

During the exhibition, representatives of AFEZ Authority met
with companies from Japan, South Korea, China, India, and other countries. In
the course of these meetings, the delegation provided detailed information
about the advantages of investing in AFEZ, including its unique legal
framework, comprehensive tax exemptions, strategic location, and ready-to-use
industrial land plots. These discussions were productive and have opened up
opportunities for potential cooperation in manufacturing, and other strategic
sectors.

AFEZ is the largest free economic zone in the Caucasus
region, located at the crossroads of major international transport corridors
and adjacent to the Baku International Sea Trade Port. The zone also benefits
from multimodal logistics connections and a developing cargo airport that will
further strengthen its transportation and logistics capabilities.

AFEZ continues to engage with international partners and
welcomes companies, engaged in high value-added export-oriented manufacturing,
looking to expand into new and promising markets.

Alat Free Economic Zone Participates in Manufacturing World Tokyo 2025

A delegation of prominent Turkish media representatives visited the Alat Free Economic Zone (AFEZ), with the business trip organized through the support of the Trade Representative Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Türkiye.

During the visit, Mr. Valeh Alasgarov, Chairman of the Board of AFEZ Authority, gave interviews to various media outlets, highlighting the favorable business climate created for investors. He emphasized the Zone’s unique legal framework, attractive fiscal and non-fiscal incentives, fully developed infrastructure, and strategic location at the crossroads of major international trade routes. He underlined that these advantages make AFEZ an ideal destination for the investors engaged in high value-added, export-oriented manufacturing and invited Turkish companies with such a focus to consider establishing their presence in the Zone.

A delegation led by Mr. Ercan Turan, Governor of Iğdır Province of the Republic of Türkiye, visited the Alat Free Economic Zone (AFEZ), accompanied by business representatives from the region. The visit was organized with the support of the Trade Representative Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Türkiye.

He encouraged companies from Iğdır and across Türkiye, particularly those engaged in high value-added and export-oriented manufacturing, to take advantage of the opportunities offered by AFEZ and consider establishing their presence within the Zone.

A delegation from the China&nbsp; Association for International Economic Cooperation (CAFIEC) visited the Alat Free Economic Zone (AFEZ). During the meeting with the Chairman of the Board of AFEZ Authority, the delegation was briefed on AFEZ’s strategic geographical location, its unique legal basis, package of fiscal and non-fiscal incentives, as well as on the land plots with ready-to-use off-site and on-site infrastructure and utilities.&nbsp;The CAFIEC representatives expressed strong interest in AFEZ’s investment environment and emphasized their willingness to facilitate connections with Chinese enterprises seeking to expand internationally. They affirmed their readiness to engage in future cooperation.&nbsp;&nbsp;
