A team representing the Alat Free Economic Zone Authority (AFEZA) recently held a meeting at the German Arbitration Institute, located in Bonn, Germany.
It discussed with the DIS Team, led by Secretary General Ramona Schardt, various aspects of arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, including mediation.
The agenda included an in-depth analysis of institutional arbitration and mediation, a broad discussion about setting administrative fees, as well as a comparison of current best practices from an international perspective. The experience shared by the DIS team will be significant for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the prospective AFEZ Arbitration Center.
During the meeting, the AFEZA delegation delivered a detailed presentation outlining the operational framework and strategic initiatives of the AFEZ.
