A delegation from the Bureau of Economic, Energy, and Business Affairs of the United States Department of State, headed by Rebecca Neff and Amy Carlon, visited the Alat Free Economic Zone.
During the meeting, the Chairman of the Board of the AFEZ Authority, Mr. Valeh Alasgarov, delivered a comprehensive overview of the AFEZ. He highlighted its unique legal regime, fully established internal and external infrastructure, industrial land plots supplied with engineering and utility networks, as well as various financial and non-financial incentives, together with advanced transport and logistics capabilities.
Both sides also exchanged views on opportunities for future cooperation and expressed strong interest in further strengthening bilateral engagement.
