On October 16, 2024, the representatives of German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (AHK Azerbaijan) visited the Alat Free Economic Zone (AFEZ) and met with the Chairman of the Board of Alat Free Economic Zone Authority, Mr. Valeh Alasgarov. The meeting was organised with the support of AHK Azerbaijan and IHK Koblenz.
During the meeting, Mr. Alasgarov provided detailed information about main activities of the AFEZ, its strategic geographical location, unique legal framework, as well as about the industrial land plots with ready-to-use off-site and on-site infrastructure and utilities, transportation and logistic centers, fiscal and non-fiscal incentives package for the investors.
The meeting concluded with an engaging Q&A session, addressing key issues of interest to companies.
