The first meeting of the Azerbaijan–Qatar Joint Business Council was held in Doha within the framework of the 4th session of the Joint Economic, Trade, and Technical Commission between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the State of Qatar.
The event, organized by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) and the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, brought together officials and business representatives from both countries.
As part of the Business Council meeting, the Alat Free Economic Zone Authority delivered a presentation highlighting AFEZ’s strategic advantages. The presentation emphasized AFEZ’s unique legal framework, attractive fiscal and non-fiscal incentives, modern infrastructure, and its strategic location along major international transport corridors. Participants were informed about the significant opportunities AFEZ creates for investors and the potential for expanding cooperation with Qatari businesses.
