The 8th meeting of the Joint Commission on trade-economic relations and scientific-technical cooperation between the Governments of Azerbaijan and Romania was held in Baku on April 1, 2024.
At the meeting, discussions were held on the directions of future cooperation in energy, transport, investment, agriculture, social, education, humanitarian, infrastructure, construction, and other fields.
The Chairman of the Board of Alat Free Economic Zone (AFEZ) Authority, Mr. Valeh Alasgarov participated at the meeting of the Joint Commission and informed participants about main activities of the AFEZ, its strategic geographical location, unique legal framework, as well as about the industrial land plots with ready-to-use off-site and on-site infrastructure and utilities, and the fiscal and non-fiscal incentives package for the investors.
