As part of visit to Azerbaijan, Fabiano Coelho, Head of the Customs Administration of Brazil's Federal Revenue Service, visited the Alat Free Economic Zone (AFEZ) on July 28.
During the visit, the Brazilian delegation was given a comprehensive presentation on the AFEZ's modern logistics and industrial infrastructure, customs procedures, and trade facilitation mechanisms. The delegation also toured the territory of the AFEZ and visited the Customs Administration, where they were introduced to its operational framework and customs facilities.
The parties also discussed prospects for further cooperation, including the exchange of experience and the development of closer collaboration in the field of customs administration and trade facilitation.
