In the framework of the official visit to Dusseldorf, Germany, on February 2, Chairman of the Board of AFEZ Authority (AFEZA), Mr. Valeh Alasgarov and AFEZA delegation participated at the business forum organized by the Embassy of Azerbaijan to Germany, NRW.Global Business, Dortmund IHK - Chamber of Industry and Commerce Dortmund (IHK zu Dortmund), German Eastern Business Association (Ost-Ausschuss der Deutschen Wirtschaft).
Moderator of the forum, Mr. Stefan Kagebein, Regional Director Eastern Europe, German Eastern Business Association made an opening speech at the event and stated the issues on the agenda of the event. After opening speech Mr. Alasgarov delivered detailed presentation to the audience, and talked about strategic geographic location of AFEZ, its unique legal base, business-friendly operating environment, benefits and incentives for investors, modern infrastructure and logistic facilities.
Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Germany, Mr. Nasimi Aghayev emphasized the positive trade cycle between Azerbaijan and Germany, and called on German companies to take advantage of the favorable environment in AFEZ.
CEO of NRW Global, Mr. Felix Neugart invited companies from the NRW-region to familiarize themselves with the opportunities and favorable business environment of the AFEZ and stated that it provides access to new markets.
Deputy General Manager of the Dortmund IHK - Chamber of Industry and Commerce Dortmund, Mr. Wulf-Christian Ehrich highlighted the importance of the Middle Corridor, and called to benefit from the favorable geographical location and incentives of Azerbaijan and AFEZ.
