Alat Free Economic Zone (AFEZ) welcomed a Chinese business delegation led by Mr. Wang Lianyun, President of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries in Suqian, and Mr. Day Daolu, Chairman of Jiangsu Yongjia Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd.
The visit, organized within the framework of cooperation between the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, brought together representatives of Chinese companies operating in various sectors, including industry, manufacturing, technology, engineering, and construction.
During the meeting, Chairman of the Board of the AFEZ Authority, Mr. Valeh Alasgarov, delivered a comprehensive presentation highlighting the strategic significance of the Zone as a major industrial, logistics, and investment hub in the region. The delegation was provided with detailed information on AFEZ's strategic advantages, favorable investment environment, and ongoing large-scale infrastructure development projects within the Zone, including the establishment of modern transport infrastructure, utility networks, engineering systems, and industrial facilities designed to create favorable conditions for international investors.
The parties exchanged views on prospects for further cooperation, with particular emphasis on strengthening bilateral economic and business relations, facilitating the participation of Chinese companies in investment projects within AFEZ, and identifying potential areas for industrial and investment cooperation.
Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening institutional and business ties, fostering mutually beneficial partnerships, and promoting long-term investment opportunities contributing to sustainable economic development.
