A high-level delegation headed by H.E. Sheikh Faisal Bin Abdulla Al-Rawas, President of the Federation of GCC Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FGCCC) recently visited the Alat Free Economic Zone (AFEZ) and met with the Chairman of the Board of Alat Free Economic Zone Authority, Mr. Valeh Alasgarov.
During the meeting, Mr. Alasgarov gave detailed information about the favorable business climate created in AFEZ for the investors. He briefed the guests about strategic geographical location of AFEZ, its unique legal framework, as well as about the industrial land plots with ready-to-use off-site and on-site infrastructure and utilities, and the fiscal and non-fiscal incentives package for the investors. The GCC official emphasized that companies operating in the food security, logistics, and industrial sectors in GCC countries are interested in investing in AFEZ.
The visit included an informative internal tour to the AFEZ site, addressing key issues of interest to companies and concluded with an engaging Q&A session.
