A high-level delegation led by Aklilu Tadesen, Minister of State in the Office of the Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia recently visited the Alat Free Economic Zone (AFEZ) and met with the Chairman of the Board of Alat Free Economic Zone Authority, Mr. Valeh Alasgarov.
During the meeting, Mr. Alasgarov provided detailed information about main activities of the AFEZ, its strategic geographical location, unique legal framework, as well as about the industrial land plots with ready-to-use off-site and on-site infrastructure and utilities, transportation and logistic centers, fiscal and non-fiscal incentives package for the investors.
The visit included an informative internal tour to the AFEZ site and concluded with an engaging Q&A session, where both sides discussed potential cooperation opportunities.
