A delegation from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) paid a visit to the Alat Free Economic Zone (AFEZ).During the meeting, Chairman of the Board of the AFEZ Authority, Mr. Valeh Alasgarov, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the strategic role of the Zone as a major industrial, logistics, and investment hub in the region. The delegation was briefed on the large-scale infrastructure works being carried out within the Zone, including the development of transport connectivity, utility networks, engineering systems, and modern industrial facilities.During the visit, the parties exchanged views on prospects for further cooperation. Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening collaboration and exploring opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation aimed at promoting sustainable economic development and attracting long-term investment.
