The management teams of Alat Free Economic Zone (AFEZ) Authority and Karakul Free Economic Zone recently came together to discuss opportunities for mutual growth and cooperation.
The Chairman of the Board of AFEZ Authority, Mr. Valeh Alasgarov delivered presentation, and highlighted main activities of AFEZ, its strategic geographic location, unique legal base, package of fiscal and non-fiscal incentives available for investors as well modern transportation and logistical infrastructure.
At the end of the meeting the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between two authorities. The MoU was signed by Mr. Valeh Alasgarov, Chairman of the Board of AFEZ Authority and Mr. Bakhodur Khafizov, representing the Karakul Free Economic Zone. This agreement sets the stage for the two economic zones to collaborate on a wide range of areas, including investment, technology transfer, and experience exchange.
Following meeting and signing ceremony, the delegation from Karakul Free Economic Zone visited the Alat Free Economic Zone site and got acquittanced with business friendly operating environment created here for investors.
