The Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Yuriy Husev recently visited the Alat Free Economic Zone (AFEZ) and met with the Chairman of the Board of the AFEZ Authority Mr. Valeh Alasgarov.
During the meeting Mr. Alasgarov provided detailed information about main activities of the AFEZ, its strategic geographical location, unique legal framework, as well as about the industrial land plots with ready-to-use off-site and on-site infrastructure and utilities, transportation and logistic centers, fiscal and non-fiscal incentives package for the investors.
Mr. Husev has highly appreciated the favorable business environment created in the AFEZ for investors. The parties discussed future cooperation regarding the placement of export-oriented manufacturing enterprises from Ukraine in the AFEZ.
